TEMPERATURE
High and low temperatures can influence rope performance in a variety
of ways. Ambient temperature conditions should be well understood
and within the limits outlined in Table 2. Generally speaking, extremely
cold temperatures commonly will not have a negative impact on rope
performance. However, moisture and subsequent freezing will impact a
rope’s handling and flexibility, but with no known negative long-term impact
on rope life. High temperatures can reduce a rope’s strength and fatigue
resistance. If temperatures exceed the limits shown in Table 2, special care
should be taken to ensure the product is fit-for-purpose.

Hammock suspension kit

I recently bought the suspension kit to upgrade from a cinch buckle system I was a little confused when I first received the whole kit I was expecting actual tree hugger strap and not straps set up for cinch buckles. After experimenting with a marlinspike toggle system, I am highly impressed. It gives me a lot more diversity and adjustment for different distances between hang points. Very impressed. I have included pictures of the current set up. I spent a couple of nights with a different set up with the cinch buckle. I would highly recommend. this is definitely a five star product pictures are included.

I bought the adjustable ridge-line and used it first, but I?m glad I bought the suspension system. I didn?t know quite how much I would love it, but the whoopie slings and ridge-line let me dial in for that perfect hang. And, I?ve learned a lot about the physics behind it. These will be replacing my standard suspension for my other hammocks, as well.
